Patterson, W.G. - 20th. March 1910 - A presentation of a purse of gold was made to Mr.W.G. Patterson leader of the 1st. Presbyterian Church Choir prior to his departure for a new life in the USA. He had been leader of the musical section of the choir for just over 21 years. Mr.Patterson with his wife and child left for Newark, New Jersey on Saturday morning aboard the S.S. California of the Anchor Line from Londonderry.
