On the 7th.inst. committed to the silent tomb, the remains of Mr James Kirkpatrick, assistant agent in the Marquis of Londonderry’s office. A situation which he filled with honour and integrity, and discharged all the relative duties of life in such a manner as evinced the wisdom and benevolence of a superior mind – endeared him to an extensive circle of friends, and now renders his premature death a subject of the deepest regret. A much beloved wife and three fatherless children are left to deplore the loss of a fond husband and an affectionate parent. 10th October 1823 edition.
